A new era for meetings at Universal Orlando Resort
When Universal Epic Universe opens on May 22, 2025, Universal Orlando Resort will officially become a four-park destination. Attached to the elegantly built Universal Helios Grand Hotel, another 500 guest rooms, including 35 suites, will be added to the overall portfolio, complemented by one-of-a-kind views of Universal Epic Universe and nearly 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, ideal for intimate meetings and social gatherings.

Helios Grand Hotel’s casual Mediterranean influence will be seen all throughout the space, enhanced by its luxurious gold furnishings and finishes in the lobby, dining establishments, guest rooms, and more.
The hotel’s restaurant and lounge options include Flora Taverna, a three-meal restaurant and lobby bar; Lotus Lagoon, a pool bar and grill; Aurora Market, the property’s grab-and-go area; and Bar Helios, a rooftop bar offering incredible views of Epic Universe.
Universal Orlando Properties: A World Apart

Helios Grand Hotel is Universal Orlando’s 11th hotel, contributing to a total of 11,000 rooms across its hotel portfolio. Four of these are especially suited for meetings and events: Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, and Hard Rock Hotel.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort features 1,000 guest rooms, including 51 luxury suites. Its lagoon-style pool and white-sand beach set a relaxing tone for attendees between sessions.
Meeting attendees can enjoy a wide range of culinary offerings from the property’s banquet menu, including island-inspired breakfast and lunch options (plated and buffet), themed breaks such as Fair Trade Chocolate and Mediterranean Snacks, and Flavor by Loews, a banquet option that brings local F&B into your event program.
A variety of on-site restaurants and lounges grace the floors of Royal Pacific Resort, including Orchid Court Lounge & Sushi Bar, which serves inventive sushi, sashimi and salads, as well as Japanese whiskeys, sake and beer; the Polynesian-inspired Islands Dining Room, where attendees can find Pan-Asian cuisine like Mongolian beef and Hibachi Teriyaki Salmon; Jake’s American Bar, which specializes in specialty cocktails, as well as appetizers, sandwiches and entrees; and Tuk Tuk Market, a grab-and-go option.
Following a recent renovation of its meeting space, Royal Pacific Resort, Universal Orlando’s largest meeting hotel, features 132,000 sq. ft. of meeting and function space, including two ballrooms, five breakout rooms, and the 24-person Admiralty Boardroom. Outdoor spaces include a scenic lawn and the 6,356-square-foot Wantilan Luau Pavilion.
Royal Pacific Resort’s updated meeting space connects directly to Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, creating a combined 247,000 sq. ft. Loews Meeting Complex. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort alone features 115,000 sq. ft. of total meeting space, including 36,000 sq. ft. of pre-function space, two ballrooms, 16 meeting rooms, and three meeting planner offices.
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort features 1,000 guest rooms, including 83 suites, and four dining options, including New Dutch Trading Co., a grab-and-go option that features simple meals, snacks, ice cream and more; Strong Water Tavern, which serves tapas-style dining, vintage rums and a ceviche bar; and Amatista Cookhouse, a three-meal Caribbean restaurant.

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel brings the seaside charm of Portofino, Italy, to Universal Orlando Resort, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel offers over 89,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and function space, including the 480-person Villa Lawn and the 580-person Citrus Piazza.
At Mama Della’s Ristorante, groups of up to 70 can dine in private or semi-private rooms. Other on-site options include Trattoria del Porto, Sal’s Market Deli, The Thirsty Fish, Bar American, and Splendido Bar & Grill, along with extensive banquet menu offerings.
Hard Rock Hotel® at Universal Orlando features 650 guest rooms and suites and more than 18,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and function space. Catering includes vegetarian, vegan, and kosher options, while restaurant offerings include: The Kitchen, serving classic American breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Velvet Bar, the lobby-level lounge; and The Beach Club, a poolside bar and grill.
Helios Grand Hotel is one of three properties opening this year. Additional new properties include the recently opened Universal Stella Nova Resort and the Universal Terra Luna Resort, set to open March 2025.
