$180 Million Upgrade Transforms the Tropicana

After purchasing the Tropicana on the Las Vegas Strip two years ago, Alex Yemenidjian updated the entire property, spending a total of $180 million. The renovation included the addition of restaurants, guest rooms, meetings spaces, nightclubs, pool areas and featured entertainment. Now, it appears that investment is paying off; according to Tripadvisor.com, before the renovations the Tropicana was ranked at No. 80, but has now jumped to No. 20 out of rated Vegas properties. troplv.com
