Work and relax in remarkable California settings

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs -California

Besides a $15 multimillion renovation, the former Desert Princess Golf Resort Palm Springs has been rebranded as DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs. The resort’s 289 guest rooms and suites, and lobby have been redesigned, with inspiration coming from desert sunrises and sunsets.

Among the 23,000 sq. ft. of meeting space is a 7,400-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,200 for receptions. Amenities include 27 holes of golf, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, new fitness center and full-service spa.

“The completely transformed DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort Palm Springs Area sets a new standard for comfort and style while celebrating the unique spirit that makes Palm Springs an internationally renowned destination,” says Martin Greenwood, the general manager.

A multimillion-dollar renovation is expected to be completed in April, including the addition of a fitness center and spa expansion. There’s a renewed concentration on wellness, with healing therapies and indulgent services offered in the spa. The fitness center will feature a movement studio, lap pool and sport courts for tennis, basketball and pickleball.

The transformation also includes the complete renovation of 300 guest rooms and suites. The resort features 26,901 sq. ft. of event space, including a 7,455-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate 1,000 for receptions.

The 100-year-old legendary resort was added to the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts portfolio in December following a multimillion-dollar renovation. All 276 guest rooms were updated and a new presidential suite was unveiled. The lobby has been opened up to offer spectacular views of downtown San Francisco and the bay. Hardwood floors have been restored and carpeting was replaced.

The urban resort features 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including a ballroom that can hold up to 450. In February, the resort welcomed the opening of Antoinette, a French-inspired brasserie created by famed chef Dominique Crenn.
