Millions of years ago our hominin ancestors dwelled within caves, and some 20,000 years ago Paleolithic artists created the Lascaux Cave paintings, often called the Sistine Chapel of Prehistory, in southwestern France. This family-owned wonder is not only the state’s largest cavern but its Hidden Wonders Ballroom, 150 feet below the surface, is the deepest meeting venue; it comes with restrooms and a food prep area.
