2017 CVB Selfie Contest: True Selfies

CVBs share their unique perspectives on picture-perfect places for your next meeting

As event professionals put a premium on injecting authentic local experiences into events, we increasingly reach out to the local experts—CVBs—for help finding places and activities that will allow guests to really understand the heart and soul of a location. As important as a scenic view, signature artwork or new building is for grounding a meeting, in the end it is the people who make a place special.

Our fourth-annual selfie contest honors the people and places who host us at meetings all over the country and around the world. The joy these destination concierges take in their hometowns—large and small—is evident in this year’s record submissions. From the highest highs of canyon ziplining and extreme latitude meetings to eclipse viewing parties, hard hat tours and dugout shout-outs, they went to extremes to show their unique characters.
