As faculty legal advisor to the International Association of Venue Managers and handling negotiations for a variety of hospitality business partners, Ty Sheaks has a front row seat on the increased focus being placed on contractual negotiations (and disputes) in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Ty will give an update on some key contractual provisions to keep in mind for negotiations by meeting professionals with all types of venues as things continue to open up. Ty M. Sheaks is a frequent speaker, author, and faculty legal advisor to the International Association of Venue Managers. Ty leads the Restaurant & Hospitality Section of the law firm McCathern, Shokouhi, Evans, Grinke from its Frisco, Texas office at The Star. He has extensive experience in the courtroom litigating a variety of business disputes as well as a robust transactional practice negotiating a variety of contracts and handling mergers & acquisitions.
