Reasons Why Meeting Planners Love Utah

Adventure. With its position in the mountains, Utah is home to plenty of adventures—no matter the season. Hiking, mountain biking, zip lining and more during Utah Valley summers and snowmobiling, snowshoeing and sleigh rides during Park City winters, it’s all here. It can be used to create memorable team-building experiences.

Sports. Salt Lake City will host the Olympics in 2034. A city doesn’t get chosen to host one of the nation’s most prestigious events for nothing, and following the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, the state is garnering more attention. Deer Valley Resort has been the host of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, as well as three FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships and 23 FIS Freestyle Skiiing World Cups; currently, Utah Olympic Park offers a bobsled experience on the track used for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

Nature. Utah Valley is home to various natural attractions, from the waterfalls at Bridal Veil and Stewart Falls to the scenic views from driving and kayaking along the Alpine Loop and at Tibble Fork Reservoir, respectively.

Spirit exploration. Park City offers plenty in the way of F&B. Not only does the city offer the cocktails and food attendees may love, but they’re also invited to get hands-on. For example, Alpine Distilling and 350 Main Brasserie partnered to create a gin-making experience while enjoying a four-course gourmet meal. High West Distillery produces bourbon, rye and bottled cocktails and offers tours and tastings.
