Lars Ingelius, originally from Finland, leads the Strategic Meetings Management division for EMEA. With an international career and experience in global companies across Europe and Asia, he has broad experience in leading international teams. His 30-year career covers international hotel sales and marketing, global Destination and Congress Management, and Agency responsibilities with a focus on Strategic Meetings Management for Life Sciences. As part of the BCD Meetings & Events EMEA leadership team, he drives strategy, operational excellence, innovation, and people development. Lars lives in Spain, has been married for more than 27 years, and has two adult sons.

Andrew Hoag manages the MICE procurement category (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses, Events) forBiogen, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to lead project scope development, contract negotiations and supplier management efforts to strengthenBiogen’s strategic meetings framework. 

Andy Donovan is a self-professed “agent of connectivity” celebrating more than a quarter of a century in sales, fundraising and business development. He is a Carleton University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Law. He currently works for Life Sciences Ontario as the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, which is a member-driven not-for-profit industry association providing advocacy, education, mentorship and networking opportunities for their members. LSO’s mission is to foster a commercially successful life sciences sector in Ontario and beyond.
