Kara Ferguson, MSHTM, CMP, Meeting Planner, American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Ferguson is responsible for executing meeting and event strategies for ASA and related organizations to achieve the mission and values of the association while remaining compliant with rules and regulations for medical programming. Among other things, she manages logistics for their annual meeting, which includes more than 15,000 attendees and exhibitors. Kara brings 10 plus years of meeting industry experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Loyola University of Chicago and a master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Conventions/Meetings from Roosevelt University. She is a Smart Meetings 2019 Planner of the Year.
