How do I create an account?
Creating an account is easy! Head over to our sign-up page here. All you need is your name, an email and a strong password.
You will also need to accept our terms and conditions.
Once you have created an account, make sure to check your email for a verification link. Once your account is verified, you are able to start posting Smart Deals!
Can accounts be shared by multiple people?
Yes! Feel free to create an account for your team. Accounts can post an unlimited amount of Smart Deals, as long as they are all unique sales or deals.
When you create an account, the sign-up name could be your company’s name, if you so prefer.
What is Smart Deals?
Smart Deals is the brand-new, innovative online marketplace geared toward planners offering a wide range of deals, coupons and special rates on hotel bookings, travel, getaways, goods and services and so much more. Post your coupon and be found by meeting planners who are searching, filtering and purchasing items most important to them when planning a meeting.
How do I post a Smart Deal?
Posting a Smart Deal can be done in as quickly as five minutes!
There are two formats to Smart Deals: direct links and coupon codes. You can give a coupon code, which can be copied and pasted into your own checkout system, or you can directly link to a landing page on your website.
All you need is:
- Title for your deal (e.g. “40% Off Rooms at the Blue Hotel”, “2x Rewards at Bill’s Flowers”)
- High-resolution image to be set as the featured image
- 255-word description about your company
- 285-word description of the deal aimed at event planners
- Clickthrough URL for customers
- A unique coupon code for Smart Deals customers, if applicable
- Terms and conditions to your deal (restrictions, deadlines, etc.)
Once you’ve filled out all the relevant information, make sure you have uploaded your high-resolution photo and selected a category for your deal. If your Smart Deal needs more than one category, there is a surcharge per additional category due to the extended exposure of your deal.
Smart Deals can only be live for a maximum of three months, so make sure your deal is timely. If you are setting a Smart Deal for a future sale, make sure to have an accurate start date entered.
After submitting your Smart Deal, your deal will go through our approval process. Make sure your email associated with your Smart Deal account is accurate—if any issues arise, we will contact you.
If your Smart Deal has not gone live in two business days, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
How much does it cost to post a Smart Deal?
Smart Deals are an affordable way to advertise a flash sale, deal, coupon or discount to planners. It’s perfect for companies who offer services to planners without a large advertising budget.
Here is the cost breakdown:

What is the approval process for Smart Deals?
Your Smart Deal will go through an approval process before it is posted on the marketplace.
We look for spelling and grammar errors, word count overages and whether the deal is appropriate for our marketplace.
Here are some tips to ensure your Smart Deal goes through the approval process sooner:
- Make sure your Smart Deal is free of any errors
- Fill out all relevant information
- Ensure your headline is in Title Case and accurately represents your deal
- Frame your Smart Deal more about the sale or discount that you are promoting and less about your property, service or company
If, after two business days, your Smart Deal has still not gone live, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I did not receive a verification email.
If you still have not received your verification email, check your junk or spam folder. If you still haven’t received it, request an activation email.
I submitted a Smart Deal, but it still hasn’t appeared.
We’re so glad you’re excited to get your Smart Deal up and running for planners! Our Smart Deals go through an approval process after they are completed and submitted by you. This helps you, and us, in a few ways.
