With 20 years of experience in operations, sales, and executive leadership, Tracy has built a career helping organizations navigate change, optimize talent, and develop high-performing teams across the business events industry. Tracy serves on the California State University AI Workforce Acceleration Board as the sole representative from the hospitality and events industry, helping shape the future of workforce development and AI adoption across the sector. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS), she has also served on global boards and committees for MPI, SITE, and PCMA, contributing to the advancement of the profession and the future of the industry. She holds a Master's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Drexel University. Nikki Gonzales is the Chief of Staff at Soundings, a talent consultancy and workforce solutions company serving the business events industry. As a member of the leadership team, she helps drive strategic initiatives and organizational growth while leading Soundings' talent operations team. Nikki also serves as the face of the Soundings Thrive talent community, supporting and engaging a global network of more than 4,300 event professionals and helping organizations connect with the right talent to build high-performing teams. With a background spanning hotel operations, event strategy, and human resources, Nikki brings a unique perspective to talent development, workforce engagement, and organizational effectiveness. A graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, she began her career with Hilton before joining Soundings more than seven years ago. A recognized thought leader, presenter, and workforce advocate, Nikki leads industry research on talent trends, workforce development, and the future of work. She is actively involved in industry leadership initiatives through SITE Young Leaders and MPI San Diego and is a PCMA 20 in Their Twenties honoree.
