New Venues in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is a vibrant, diverse and ever-changing city. Within the next few years, L.A. will open new hotels, sports stadiums, museums, and more. Here are a few of the newest and upcoming additions that could be the perfect spot for your next meeting.
The InterContinental Hotel Downtown
Open since 2017, the InterContinental Hotel Downtown boasts almost 900 rooms and 94,000 square feet of event space including boardrooms and ballrooms, as well as iconic views from their 73rd floor Sky Deck.
Banc of California Stadium
Home to the Los Angeles Football Club, the Banc of California Stadium opened in 2018 and offers premium hospitality spaces throughout the venue including a chef-driven international food hall, event rooftops and specialty bars.
Hotel Figueroa
With 10,000 square feet of event space, the newly-renovated Hotel Figueroa opened in 2018 and offers terraces, ballrooms, and meeting spaces with unbelievable views and a new spin on Moroccan architecture.
Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
Coming in 2020, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will be an immersive, experimental, educational and entertaining institution dedicated to showcasing the art of making movies. It will also feature indoor/outdoor event space and a state-of-the-art theater.
Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park
As the sports capital of the world, L.A. is adding the Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park in 2021 to serve as the home to the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, as well as to host Super Bowl LVI in 2022 and the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023.
George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art
Calling all George Lucas fans! Coming soon to Exposition Park, The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will hold paintings, photographs, digital art, illustrations and more from the famous director’s history. There will even be an entire exhibit dedicated to the Star Wars franchise.
City Market Social House
The newest addition to the L.A. Fashion District, City Market Social House opened in 2018 and offers over 14,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space for up to 1,000 guests. It also provides event planning services and customized dining options through Wolfgang Puck Catering.
