Shameka Jennings, CMP, director of meetings and partnership development, NCSTD

Shameka Jennings is an award-winning meeting and events association professional with over eight years of industry experience. She is director of meetings and partnership development at National Coalition of STD Directors. She drives revenue growth, sponsorships and member engagement through creation of relevant and on-brand event experiences for the organization. Previously, she served as director of education and events at National WIC Association, where she was responsible for managing all of NWA’s educational activities, which included four conferences, a 32-week leadership development program, and a weekly webinar schedule. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South, and her master’s in tourism administration with a concentration in event and meeting management from The George Washington University. She is also a Smart Woman in Meetings Award recipient.

 

Brandt Krueger, owner, Event Technology Consulting

Brandt Krueger is Smart Meetings’ Event Tech editor, a technical producer, instructor with Event Leadership Institute, geek dad and husband. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the meetings and events industry and has spoken at industry events and seminars all over the world.

She is a former #Eventicons podcast host, eventprof, and marketer with work featured in the New York Times, EdWeek, Smart Meetings, and the Association Research Lab.
