Indiana and Ohio have much in common. Both are Midwestern states surrounded by Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Both states also enjoy long histories as sports havens, are home to top-notch universities and attract profitable enterprises to their biggest cities.

Ohio and Indiana have reputations as down-to-earth places where state fairs are huge productions, and friendly folks still greet visitors. Indianans (Hoosiers) and Ohioans (Buckeyes) are also into contemporary arts, fine-dining and all kinds of museums. They cherish choice-cut steaks and premium beers—and microbreweries are prospering. They admire beautiful botanical gardens and refurbished Victorian-era houses—and they love their zoos!

Major cities are focusing on commercial redevelopment projects and revitalized downtown neighborhoods. Existing hotels are investing in renovations to attract business travelers without losing sight of the big-hearted hospitality for which Midwesterners are known. Because Hoosiers and Buckeyes know how to entertain guests, it comes as no surprise that both states excel at hosting business meetings and events.
