Located in the heart of Sequoia National Park, the 102-room Wuksachi Lodge is open year-round , affording visitors an ideal setting for exploring a wide variety of outdoor activities
From hiking some of the 800-plus miles of marked trails during summer, to the ski-in/ski-out convenience for Nordic skiers in winter - Wuksachi Lodge offers numerous recreational options to please every age and interest.

 

Opened in 1999, the deluxe mountain lodge features a panoramic forest setting, a full-service restaurant, lounge, retail shop and 1,320 square feet of meeting/special event space.

 

Furnishings reflect an upscale, natural decor highlighting native granite rock, oak, cedar and hickory woods.

 

The main lodge building is highlighted by dramatic lighting, stone fireplaces, granite tiles, soaring windows and ceilings. Interiors feature natural woods, Mission-style furnishings and traditionalforest colors. A mammoth granite sculpture that mirrors the surrounding mountain peaks adorns the wall behind the reservations desk. The Wuksachi name is derived from one of the Native american tribes that first inhabited Sequoia and adjacent Kings Canyon National Park.

102 rooms housed in three detached buildings. Rooms are separated in three price categories: Standard, Deluxe, and Superior. In-room amenities include double-queens or king beds, private bath, television, mini-refrigerators, hair dryers, iron/board, telephones with computer data ports. ski racks, coffeemakers and daily maid service. Rooms for the physically challenged are available.

Food and Beverage Service:

Wuksachi Dining Room - 95-seat , full service restaurant with soaring windows, forest views and an oversized granite rock fireplace. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Cocktail lounge - Full beverage service daily, noon to 11:00 p.m.

 

Other Services:

Bell Service is available. Retail shops open daily 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Conference services: Over 1,500 sq. ft of dedicated meeting and banquet space. Full audio visual services and catering available.

 

Visitor Activities:

Free ranger-led walks and interprative programs, fishing, hiking horseback riding, photography, wildlife watching, cross-country skiing and snowshoe walks. High Sierra hiking trail heads to Twin Lakes, Mt. Silliman, Lodgepole Village and Nature Center, all leave from the lodge.
