Two Bars Seven Ranch invites you to join us in a truly Western Experience.
Two Bars Seven Ranch invites you to join us in a truly Western Experience.
Two Bars Seven has been in the Schaffer family for four generations, since the days of territorial government in the late 1800's. Our ranch family raises stock horses and Beefalo cattle, a hardy buffalo hybrid, whose meat is natural, leaner, and more nutritious than that of domestic cattle.
Two Bars Seven sits on 7,000 acres of secluded mountains, meadows and forests along the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains on both sides of Colorado-Wyoming border.
Two Bars Seven hosts a variety of guests every May through November. Among those we accommodate are vacationers, family reunions, small conferences and retreats, summer camps for kids, artists, and people with special dietary needs.
Our ranch operates free from the pressures of modern commercial enterprise. We invite you to come join us and share in the pleasant relaxation of the West.
Two Bars Seven is also a great place to simply relax. Enjoy hiking, fishing, wildlife-watching, and rock climbing. Cozy up in front of the fireplace in our lounge or unwind in the hot tub to a coyote serenade.
If you enjoy rodeos, plan a vacation around the world-class Greeley Stampede, Laramie Jubilee Days, Cheyenne Frontier Days, or any of dozens of other local events. Auto excursions to local points of interest are available for small groups. Nightly entertainment can be found all season long in the nearby towns of Laramie and Cheyenne, but it's also fun to stay around the homestead. We have our own dancehall with a player piano, antique jukebox, and pool table.
The majesty of the West is visible in every aspect of Two Bars Seven Ranch. Pristine surroundings, an abundance of wildlife, a variety of activities, peaceful open spaces, and friendly companionship are what define the Western experience at Two Bars Seven.

What's Distinctive?
Our saddle horses carry the bloodlines of generations of famous working cattle horses and have been trained for ranch work as well as pleasure riding. Since Two Bars Seven is a working ranch, there is always a lot to be done. Many of our guests are eager to lend a hand at activities around the ranch, such as moving cattle, helping with newborns, or helping to repair a downed fence. Two Bars Seven is also a great place to simply relax.
