Each of our guest rooms has been transformed and impeccably appointed with new furniture, including our famous Heavenly Beds^TM, wall and floor coverings, in-room safes, and state-of-the-art safety upgrades as part of the ongoing restoration.

From small meetings in our elegant conference rooms or fabulous suites and parlors to large formal galas in our Grand Ballroom, we can accommodate 40 or 1,500 for meetings, conference, and dining. Our Convention Services Staff is ready to meet your every need, including a full-service Business Center with cellular phone rental, personal computer rentals, facsimile and photocopying services.

Considered the premiere choice in San Francisco for fundraising events, formal galas, and conferences, The Grand Ballroom offers more than 10,700 square feet in size, comfortably seating up to 1,500 people. Some of the city’s most prestigious events have been catered here, including the Black and White Ball, the San Francisco Symphony’s opening night party, and the Annual San Francisco Debutante Ball. Just adjacent to this room is The Italian Room, a 1920s art deco style foyer that can be used as a reception area.

Since its opening celebration in 1913 hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution in “colonial attire,” this room has maintained its charm and sophistication. It has gold leaf floor and ceiling moldings and an ornate balcony that overlooks the room. One entire wall is graced with a restored mural that depicts a scene from the Tuscany countryside. Seating up to 400 guests, it is the perfect setting for a wedding or formal dinner. Not long ago, it was the place where San Francisco dancers dipped and whirled through 15 of Isadora Duncan’s original dances to celebrate the anniversary of her 100th birthday.
