In addition to the 14,000-square-foot Grande Ballroom, there are two junior ballrooms: the Plaza Ballroom at 3,600 square feet and the Promenade Ballroom at 3,150 square feet.  The indoor amphitheater, with permanent ramped seating for up to 160 people, and a additional intimate meeting and boardrooms total 4,000 square feet.  All of the meeting facilities are elegantly decorated in subtle tropical hues with crystal chandelier, soundproofed and separate lighting and temperature controls.

For theme parties and other creative outdoor events, choose from nine venues offering nearly 76,000 square feet of space—for fun in the sun at the beach or evenings under the stars—the Kohala Coast boasts year-round, picture-perfect weather.

The Fairmont Orchid’s Beachboys—ambassadors to the ocean and the Hawaiian culture— add Hawaiian flair to any event with island craft demonstrations, lei greeting and torchlighting, and by orchestrating Hawaiian games such as spear throwing and outrigger canoe regattas.  To launch their Hawaii event, groups may arrange for a “Big Kahuna” arrival for their company CEO or other VIP aboard an outrigger canoe.  The Beachboys paddle in the chosen ali’i (royalty) to the hotel’s private white sand beach, where the CEO disembarks making a big “splash” with attendees.


T1 high-speed Internet connectivity is available in all meeting space and wireless connectivity can be arranged.  Complete audio/visual facilities, easels, flip charts and teleconferencing are available and High-speed Internet service is available in all 540 guest rooms and suites of the hotel.

The on-site Business Center, located near the conference facilities, provides office supplies and services as well as communication, computer, and other business machine rental services.
Following their meeting, guests may choose to relax with a swim in the pool or in the protected swimming lagoon of Pauoa Bay.  They may play tennis on one of 10 courts, enjoy a round of golf on either of the two professional championship courses at the resort, or work out in the hotel’s complete fitness center.  A full-service Beauty Salon adjoins the luxurious Spa Without Walls and its 10 island-inspired waterfall massage hale (huts) and 5 oceanfront massage cabanas – the perfect reward for a job well done.
