Our professional staff will help coordinate your entire Taos experience, from recommending accommodations and catering to off-site tours and special entertainment arrangements.
The Taos Convention Center is comprised of the Civic Plaza, Don Fernando and Coronado Halls. In total they offer 21,000 square feet of covered meeting space with an additional 5,000 square feet of outdoor patio space in three locations ideal for conferences, trade shows, trainings, seminars and banquets. Rio Grande Hall is our largest room with 7,536 square feet of column- free exhibit space; the open hall is ideal for meetings and banquets for up to 500 attendees. It can also be divided into four sections providing a variety of breakout space. The Entrance Lobby, Rear Foyer and Courtyard can be utilized for Registration, Welcome Receptions, Continental Breakfasts or breaks.
Bataan Hall is a versatile room that accommodates meetings and banquets for up to 400. It contains 6,000 sq. feet of exhibit space and a 560 sq ft. elevated stage with state of the art lighting systems ideal for presentations, lectures, entertainment and more. Don Fernando Hall, in the Coronado Hall building, is our newest addition with theatre style seating for 350 or up to 30 8 X 10 booth spaces. The space opens on to a large shaded patio of over 2000 square feet ideal for barbeques, banquets or meetings al fresco. Also in Coronado Hall, there are four breakout rooms ranging from the Boardroom for 10 to El Alcalde, Los Angelitos and El Taoseno that can accommodate up to 45-75 people.

Your guests can walk from the facility to three museums, a 14-acre park, dozens of art galleries, fine restaurants, and unique shops. Experiencing Taos Pueblo, our traditional Hispanic village, and our vibrant art community will enrich your meeting. The adventurous among your group will also appreciate the world-class slopes of Taos Ski Valley and class IV whitewater rapids of the Rio Grande.
The Convention Center boasts a full-service commercial kitchen and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. All food, beverage and liquor service are provided by contracted companies of the Convention Center. All functions desiring the service of alcoholic beverages must coordinate with the Convention Center’s contracted provider. Our Audio-Visual Equipment includes cassette players, DVD players, microphones, PA systems (built-in and portable), overhead projector, slide carousels, video projector, screens, TV’s and VCR’s. Complimentary wireless internet access is available. We can assist with other needs including additional audio-visual, florists and entertainment.
Getting to Taos is fun and easy. Located 120 miles north of Albuquerque, the drive is part of the northern New Mexico experience. Travel up to the high mesa valley into Santa Fe, winding along the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains with the Rio Grande to the west. The highway takes you through the canyon and up to a breath-taking view of the Taos valley and Rio Grande Gorge. Rent a car or take the ground shuttle services in Albuquerque or Santa Fe to reach Taos. Private deluxe motorcoaches can also be arranged.
