The Kandahar experience begins when you step into the beautiful lobby with it's big beams, large river rock fireplace and comfortable antique furniture. The biggest amenity is Cafe Kandahar offering the innovative cuisine of Executive Chef Andy Blanton and an extensive wine list to match. The Cafe serves breakfast and dinner and may be available for a unique catered meal for your group. Other additions to a the Kandahar experience include a large outdoor hot tub, steam room, exercise room and massage services.

The rooms are decorated in pine and have tile bathrooms, microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers. Kitchen suites are available. The rooms are located in two wings and three floors. There is no elevator. Kandahar is non-smoking throughout.

Free wireless DSL is available in most of the rooms and the meeting spaces.

Kandahar is located 20 miles from the local airport (FCA or Kalispell) and is serviced by Delta, Northwest, Alaska/Horizon, US Airways and United. Surrounded by alpine beauty the Lodge is within an hour of Glacier National Park, several fine golf courses, two large lakes and a number of rivers. Nearby is Whitefish, a town of 6000, offering shopping, dining, theatre and many other activities.
