Welcome to the town of Albany. Nestled along the Willamette River, historic Downtown Albany features newly remodeled historic theaters and meeting spaces. Albany maintains its small town seclusion, while offering the sophistication of metropolitan areas.

The Venetian Theater, originally built in 1913 blends modern technology with the charm of yesterday. It boasts a state of the art sound and lighting system, onsite kitchen, and Mezzanine seating area.

Remodeled in 2006 the Pix Theater is versatile, seating 220 people with a 1920’s lobby. The Theater welcomes groups ranging from birthday parties to seminars to black tie events. For your convenience the theater is open seven days per week hosting classics on the big screen and first run movies.

In addition to our rich historic spaces, Albany has many new modern facilities. The Linn County Fair & Expo Center is a multi-use facility that has the capability of hosting an international dog show one day and an exquisite reception the next. With 209,000 feet of exposition and arena space, there is ample room for events ranging from a banquet of 1500 people to a horse show with 2200 in attendance.

For your culinary delight Albany features many unique restaurants. Novak’s Authentic Hungarian Restaurant is a family owned restaurant featuring authentic Hungarian fare. Sybaris, located in the Downtown District offers the finest in Northwest Cuisine. Sunset Magazine highlights Sybaris as being an important stop as you “taste your way,” through the Willamette Valley.

Albany is always pleased to welcome groups or new events to the area. Should you desire assistance please contact Kathy Hansen, Albany Visitors Association, Group Sales Manager at 1-800-526-2256.
