Atom Feeds
Atom feeds provide simple way of syndicating our content.
All content on Smart Meetings is also available in standard Atom format, allowing you to subscribe to regularly updated content such as our news headlines or our blog. You can also subscribe to feeds of particular reviews of destinations, tagged content or unique search results.
GeoRSS and Google Earth
Atom Feeds for Properties and Destinations are also marked up according the GeoRSS standard. This embeds geographic data in the feed and can be used to display Smart Meetings content in location-based software such as Google Maps or Yahoo! Maps.
KML feeds are also available for both Destinations and Properties. This allows data to be visualised in Google Earth, Google's popular 3D Earth viewer
Microformats
Content on this site is marked up according to a collection of standards, known as Microformats. They are a way of defining and encoding useful information within a webpage, allowing tools such as web-browsers to extract the data and use it in other applications.
