Boston Park Plaza has hosted such political and cultural icons as Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Katharine Hepburn and Judy Garland. Formerly The Statler Hotel, which opened in 1927, the property completed a $100 million renovation in June to usher in a new era of hospitality. The renovation added 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting and prefunction space, bringing its total to 50,480 sq. ft. The transformation also included updates to the property’s 1,060 guest rooms, corridors, main entrances, lobby, existing meeting spaces and mezzanine levels, and the addition of a library room.

Victorian elegance has enhanced downtown Boulder, Colorado, since 1909 thanks to luxurious accommodations provided by Hotel Boulderado. A member of Historic Hotels of America, the iconic property wrapped up the first phase of a 15-month overhaul in June, including the renovation of 114 annex guest rooms and suites, the corridors, atrium, executive boardroom, ballroom, foyer and adjacent outdoor courtyard. Phase two features improvements to the historic section of the hotel and will be finished by the end of the year or early 2017. Hotel Boulderado has 160 guest rooms, 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and an outdoor plaza.

Housed in a 1920s-era building with neoclassical architecture, the downtown Renaissance offers modern luxury near Rhode Island Convention Center and Brown University. The art-inspired hotel wrapped up a multimillion-dollar renovation in June, updating its 272 guest rooms and suites. The new lobby was inspired by Providence history and the local environ, including depictions of the jewelry and silver industry, and bodies of water around the city such as Providence River. There’s 14,540 sq. ft. of sophisticated event space.
