Properties with pizzazz and central locations

Hotel Commonwealth, Boston

A $50 million expansion completed in December nearly doubled the number of guest rooms and meeting space at the official hotel of Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox. Hotel Commonwealth (pictured) now boasts 245 guest rooms and suites, and 12,545 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space.

The renovation features a new 96-room wing and 7,500 sq. ft. of event space that overlooks Fenway Park, home of the beloved Red Sox. There’s awesome prefunction space, with two-story floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ballpark and an outdoor terrace. There’s also a new Fenway Park Suite chock-full of Red Sox memorabilia and ballpark seats on its terrace, along with a baseball glove to snare home run balls.

“The new wing and recent renovation reflect the dynamic neighborhood and we are thrilled to showcase our exciting new transformation to guests and locals,” says Adam Sperling, general manager of Hotel Commonwealth.
