Work Begins on New Las Vegas Development

This month, construction will begin on a $500 million development on the Las Vegas Strip. The new project, funded by Caesars Entertainment, is being called Linq and will include a 550-foot state-of-the-art Ferris wheel, restaurants and entertainment districts. It will directly link to the Imperial Palace and the Flamingo hotels. As part of the developments construction, Caesars will also be redoing the exterior of the Imperial Palace and its neighboring casino/bar, O’Sheas. The project will employ 3,000 construction workers, and once the complex is built it will provide 1,500 new jobs to the area. caesars.com
