Vegas Gets Two Observation Wheels

Aug. 19, 2011
Last week, Caesars Entertainment announced that it will be breaking ground on a $550 million development called Linq. One of the most publicized features of Linq is going to be the 550-foot observation wheel (a Ferris wheel) that will be the tallest in the world. Right down the strip, Howard Bulloch has already broken ground on his similar development, Skyvue Las Vegas, which will feature a 476-foot observation wheel with unobstructed views of the Strip.  Skyvue will also feature a roller coaster and retail shops. Bulloch has stated that he isn’t worried about the additional height of the competing project. caesars.com
