Survey Respondents Suspect Drinking, Infidelity Goes on at Conventions

Trade shows and conventions have a reputation for encouraging bad behavior, according to an online survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of virtual-event and webcasting provider On24 of San Francisco. That reputation is widespread, too, with 94% of those surveyed saying that those who attend such events engage in questionable activities. As for what those activities could include, 77% said heavy drinking, 66% said cheating on a spouse, 54% said overspending and 53% said eating fatty foods. You’re on notice, folks. latimes.com
