Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel Opens in Md.
A former Crowne Plaza hotel in the Washington, DC, area has reopened as the Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel following a $5 million renovation. Located in the business and entertainment district of Silver Spring, Md., the property has 16,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Among the upgrades is a new lobby featuring Link@Sheraton Experienced with Microscoft, the brand’s multimedia hub concept, and a new lounge on the Sheraton Club floor. All 229 guest rooms were also refurbished. The hotel is owned by Integrated Capital of Los Angeles and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts of Fairfax, Va. starwoodmeetings.com
