Renovations Planned After Sale of Westin Atlanta Perimeter North
A group of investors purchased the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North about 15 miles north of downtown Atlanta. The joint venture of Carey Watermark Investors of New York, The Arden Group of Philadelphia, and Marcus Hotels and Resorts of Milwaukee is spending $57 million on the 372-room property, including a $14 million investment in renovations of guest rooms and public spaces. The hotel, which features 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, is in Sandy Springs, Ga., in the Perimeter Center business district. The investors acquired the hotel from an affiliate of DiamondRock Hospitality of Bethesda, Md.
