LaGuardia Airport Equipped with Complimentary iPads

Delta Air Lines passengers waiting for their flights in LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal D now have complimentary access to iPads, offering entertainment, flight information and more. The tablets are mounted on rows of bar-style tables. The $15 million project was paid for by OTG Management, which runs concessions in the terminal. Travelers can use the devices to order food and have it delivered to their seat while they wait. The iPads also feature software that lets users enter their flight number and then alerts them to any changes or delays. The company is planning a similar makeover for Terminal C, which will give the New York airport a total of 2,000 iPads, followed by airports in Minneapolis and Toronto. wsj.com
