ISES Partners with Event Leadership Institute

Today at the International Special Events Society (ISES) Annual Meeting in Dallas, ISES President Terry Singleton announced a strategic partnership with the Event Leadership Institute (ELI). ELI’s online educational classes will be the first to receive the new “ISES Approved” designation, which determines what educational offerings meet the organization’s new professional development standards. ISES will introduce the designation in conjunction with education content outlines that will be distributed to its 54 chapters around the world. The two organizations will continue to collaborate on the basis that ELI will develop classes that are in accordance with the ISES standards. In a press release, Howard Givner, founder and executive director of ELI said, “Our vision is to raise the overall level of knowledge for event planners, and thereby empower them to create better, more cost-effective events.
