Delta Air Lines Upgrades Minneapolis Control Center

Delta Air Lines has completed a $3.5 million renovation of its control center at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, one of its primary hubs. The center is a communications facility allowing the airline to coordinate with pilots, baggage handlers, gate agents and other employees. The renovation outfitted the facility with touchscreen computers, improved radios and intercoms to speed communication among workers. startibune.com
