Bonaventure Resort in Florida to Upgrade Conference Center

The new owner of a Four-Diamond resort in Weston, Fla., is planning major renovations, including adding another 4,800 sq. ft. to the resort’s conference center. The Bonaventure Resort & Spa currently has more than 44,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and 500 guest rooms. Hospitality Investing Group bought the former Hyatt Regency earlier this year. In September, it announced that Benchmark Hospitality International would manage the hotel with no brand affiliation. Planned upgrades to the property also include new meetings technology, an expansion of the restaurant and lobby renovations. miamiherald.com
