More than 6,000 industry professionals attended ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership’s annual meeting in Dallas, giving the event its highest attendance in five years. The four-day event at the Dallas Convention Center wrapped up on Tuesday. Attendees included 2,780 association executives; 1,861 exhibitors; and 1,369 guests, members of the press and others. Highlights of the event included a debate between political strategists James Carville and Karl Rove during the opening session, the announcement of a new resource to assist associations with diversity efforts, more than 120 education sessions and a charitable effort that raised $61,442 for the North Texas Food Bank.
