AIBTM Leaving Baltimore to Rotate Between Chicago, Orlando

After two years in Baltimore, the AIBTM exhibition will move to Chicago in 2013 and Orlando in 2014. Making the announcement less than a week before the second annual networking event kicks off at the Baltimore Convention Center, organizers said the location would rotate between McCormick Place in Chicago and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Reed Travel Exhibitions launched AIBTM in 2011 as an American addition to its IBTM Global Events portfolio, which features similar large-scale gatherings of meetings and events professionals in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. About 5,000 buyers and exhibitors attended last year’s inaugural event. The 2012 expo is June 19–21. aibtm.com
