Fairmont Olympic Hotel Wins Company-Wide Honors

Hotels & Resorts

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts named its Seattle property as its Hotel of the Year during the company’s recent annual conference of general managers in Dubai. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle received the award for the second time, having last won the honor in 2006, making General Manager Dennis Clark is the first GM to win the award twice for the same property. The company determines the winner by looking at such factors as guest satisfaction and financial metrics, taking a hotel’s improvement and consistency into account in addition to the raw numbers. For the current year, meeting planners rated the hotel the best in the Fairmont brand, giving it a score of 971 out of 1,000 in a satisfaction survey. fairmont.com
