The Hawaii Superferry has announced that it will resume service between Oahu and Maui on December 1. The fleet had been put on hold in mid-August when the Maui courts prevented the ferry service from using Maui’s Kahului Harbor due to environmental concerns. Special inaugural fares are available to passengers using the islands’ alternative mode of inter-island transportation for a limited time. Service to Kauai, as originally proposed, has not been determined yet. hawaiisuperferry.com
