Planners considering Scottsdale will have some new top properties to choose from this year.
The W Scottsdale Hotel is scheduled to open downtown in late May, with 224 guest rooms, eight meeting spaces, a spa, restaurant and two bars. The first floor will contain a 3,500-square-foot ballroom and 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace. starwoodhotels.com
Early August will bring the opening of the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, showcasing more than 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a huge spa and approximately 300 guest rooms. ichotelsgroup.com
Also of note is the recent completion of the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North’s $17-million renovation project. The endeavor included a makeover of the property’s guest rooms, lobby, lounge and signature restaurant—Talavera. fourseasons.com
