Montage Laguna Beach has wrapped up the upgrades to all 250 guest rooms and suites, and added four brand-new executive suites to accommodate executive meetings. The Hilton Eugene & Conference Center has completed a $3.5-million renovation. Upgrades were made in several phases to minimize disruption, and include the redesigns of all 269 guest rooms and suites. The Oregon property features 30,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space. hilton.com
Starwood Hotels has renovated and re-opened a 40-year-old former Holiday Inn in Tempe, Ariz. Reinvented as a Sheraton Four Points, the new lodging has 190 rooms and almost 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Starwood’s other Tempe activity includes construction of the Aloft Tempe, set to open in April 2009, and the Westin Tempe University Square, scheduled to launch in February 2010. starwoodhotels.com

In Phoenix, the Arizona Grand Resort is undergoing a $52-million renovation process that is slated for completion in 2009. Upgrades will include enhancements to all 640 guest suites, a redesigned golf course and a brand-new lobby with lobby bar and specialty restaurant. arizonagrandresort.com

The Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, N.M. is forging forward with its $7.5-million renovation, which will include new designs and décor for the guest rooms, remodeling of the meeting facilities and enhancements to outdoor event spaces. The L’Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa in North San Diego County will re-open on June 1 following the wrap-up of a sweeping $25-million renovation that includes a new restaurant, spa and refurbished guest rooms.
