Diamonds That Sparkle
Over the last two years, members of Associated Luxury Hotels have made sound investments in their future with more than $1 billion in renovations that will help maintain their Four- and Five-Diamond status. The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, located near Ventura, Calif., recently finished a $90-million makeover, which encompassed 308 new guest rooms, a new lobby, new restaurants and two new ballrooms. In Carlsbad, Calif. the La Costa Resort and Spa also completed a $140-million remodel with the addition of 37 guest rooms, a fifth pool, an 18,000-square-foot ballroom and two new restaurants, among other enhancements. The Broadmoor, in Colorado Springs, has completed more than $148 million in improvements over the last 24 months, including the redesign of the Mountain Gold Course, renovation of the South Tower and the opening of a new 60,000-square-foot, pillar-less ballroom. You can also find out more on The Broadmoor in the historic hotels feature story in our December issue.
