Destination Description

Sinaloa, the site of the port of Mazatlan, has a broad mix of cultures and architecture that one would expect in a vibrant port location. Within the actual port, amid sandy beaches and authentic architecture, is a Historical Center that chronicles the ports genesis and how its presence helped to shape the city and surrounding areas.

The nearby city of Zona Dorada offers world-class golfing amenities. From most courses, golfers can see straight out to the pristine beaches. The area is also the site of a mix of sporting tournaments, including an annual fishing competition; a tennis competition; the Gran Toreno Internacional de Tenis; and the Long Beach International Regatta.
