Destination Description
Located in the center of the country, Morelos is a state rich in protected areas. Lagunas de Zempoala National Park is a web of lagoons that all connect through underwater rivers. These bodies of water are ready for diving and the placid waters allow for a wonderful aquatic experience. For those who don’t want to get wet, the park is also equipped with hiking, biking and other eco-tourism amenities. Victors can even raft down the Amacuzac River, a stream that is punctuated by rapids that, at times, can become rather challenging.
