Besides the fact that everyone in the world should visit Yosemite National Park at least once in his or her lifetime, there are more reasons to bring a group to this region. In addition to the park’s dramatic waterfalls and unparalleled views of Half Dome, the area is filled with historic villages, rustic country inns, wine tasting and off-the-beaten-path meeting venues.

Everything in Yosemite is done in homage of its spectacular surroundings.  Locals are nature lovers, park rangers, or rock climbers, and extra attention is paid to sustainability efforts, because in this particular location, the motivation to keep nature maintained is undeniable.

One example of this is the local Hech Hetchy reserve which supplies nearby San Francisco and Marin County with drinking water.  Aside from the practical uses for the reserve, it’s also a favorite destination for outdoor adventure housing the Wapama Falls, the Racheria Falls and numerous lookout points. The park also offers bird watching, biking, fishing, horseback riding, rock-climbing and guided tours by park rangers.

Although you don’t have to be a nature devotee to love what Yosemite has to offer, it’s also the perfect playground for those attendees that really want to challenge themselves.  Yosemite’s Half Dome hike, which is outfitted with cables and rises almost 5,000 feet above the Yosemite Valley, is known the world over for its strenuous peek, but completely worth-it views.

The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias drawing revelers form all over the country. In the grove there are 500 Giant Sequoias, some of them exceeding 3,000 years in age.  Tourists and locals alike flock to the grove and wander through the trees under the green canopy.

With endless location options ranging from roughing-it to luxury make this bucolic wonderland the setting of your next meeting.
